This is reported by Espresso.TV with reference to the broadcast of Joe Biden's speech, which was broadcast by  "Voice of America".

Biden began his speech by mentioning aid to Ukraine.

"Today is an unprecedented moment. I want to address the Congress with words to wake them up. And to tell the people that these are not ordinary times. Not since the days of Lincoln and the Civil War have there been such blows to democracy and freedom in to the whole world. Putin's Russia attacked Ukraine... If anyone thinks that Putin will stop in Ukraine, he is wrong," said Joe Biden.

"But Ukraine can stop Putin if we stand with Ukraine and give it the weapons it needs. And that's all Ukraine is asking for. They're not asking for our soldiers, and there's not a single American soldier in Ukraine. I'm determined that and it was. But now aid to Ukraine is being blocked by those who want to withdraw from world leadership," the American president said in Congress.

Biden also accused Donald Trump of supporting Vladimir Putin.

"My predecessor, the former Republican president, is telling Putin: do whatever the hell you want. The former president said that, he supported the Russian leader. I think it's terrible and unacceptable," Biden said, after which loud noises started again in the hall applause.

"My message to President Putin, whom I have known for a long time, is simple: we will not leave! We will not give up! I will not give up," Joe Biden assured in support of Ukraine.

Joe Biden devoted a large part of his speech to economic issues. According to the US president, their economy is the strongest in the world. The American leader also mentioned Israel, assured of support, and congratulated Sweden on joining NATO.

At the same time, Biden said that he is ready to sign the law on the border, which the Republicans are so demanding.
